PowerPoint Presentation of Revolutionary War Battle

You and a partner will work on creating a PowerPoint presentation on a Revolutionary War battle. Your presentation must include the following items:

Title slide – name of battle and both partners names
Name, date, and location of battle – map of battle if available
Military leader in charge of British forces with a short biography
Military leader in charge of American forces with a short biography
Size of British and American forces - size of the battle and battle scene
Quote form someone involved in the battle – one each from the British and American forces
Who won battle and why
Any other important people involved in the battle and why they were important
Important results or outcomes of battle for the British
Important results or outcomes of battle for the Americans
How battle ended for the British
How battle ended for the Americans
Strategy used by British
Strategy used by Americans
Any additional important information such as pictures, art, monuments, etc…

This project is worth 150 points. You will have five class periods in the computer lab to work on this project. Please see me if you need to work after school on this project.

0-20 points staying on task in the computer lab, using time wisely in lab

0-10 points following directions

0-70 points individual work, slides contain necessary information,

0-50 points group presentation, presentation makes sense, slides in good order
