                                  Process

Step one:   While this is a group project, each group member must do their own individual work.  The following roles must be assigned: Historian, Political Scientist, Geographer, and Sociologist.  The group must assign each part to ONE group member.

Step Two: Each group member must begin to gather information that relates to their subject.  Each group member must prepare a written report that completely answers all questions about the camps.  These presentations should include pictures, maps, documents, written text - your presentation should look worthy of a museum presentation.

Historian - gather history of camps, who went where and why, who ran the camps, how were the camps organized,

Political Scientist - gather information about how camps were created legally, court battles about the constitutional issues surrounding the camps

Geographer - gathering and mapping where camps were located, mapping how people got to the camp locations, mapping where people lived before they were sent to the camps

Sociologist - what live was like inside the camps, how people lived in the camps, what their lives were like before they went to camp, social life inside the camps

Each group member must complete their own section of the project on their own.  After each group member has completed their part of the project, the group then must work together to create the presentation.  Remember, when writing a report you must cite your sources.  If you are not sure how to properly cite sources, come see me.

Step Three:  The Presentation must consist of all information gathered from the four group members.   The presentation must be free standing on some type of art board or poster board.  Remember, this presentation must be able to withstand traveling around the county visiting high schools.  The group must decide what items should be included in the display, design of the presentation, and information needed to complete the presentation.  As stated before the presentation must be self-explanatory, but each group member for our class purposes will be asked to speak about their part of the presentation.

Remember, this is your project.   Work together to create a great presentation.  If you need any help from me, please ask!
