   Your task will be to identify a disability, and produce the design for a product that will help solve a problem for someone with a handicap.  This will be a group activity, with either two or three group members. 

Criteria and Constraints:

Ø  Your product must safely aid a person with a physical disability.

Ø    Your product can be a completely new invention or an improvement on an existing device.

Ø    Your group must produce a poster or simple model of your product.  A poster must include a drawing of the product.

Ø    Your group must turn in a problem statement and a written rationale of your solution.

 Equipment and Materials:

• pencil and paper

• ruler

• poster board

• permanent markers
