I constructed these Red Oak Display Tables for a relative.  The tables are made from 3/4" oak veneer plywood doubled on all sides.  The tables are faced with red oak hardwood and finished with a satin lacquer.  I used a walnut stain as a base and used a coat of red oak stain on top to create a reddish-brown finish.
